Ducati—A Photographic Tribute Volume 1 and Ducati—A Photographic Tribute Volume 2 showcases the work of legendary motorcycle photographer, Phil Aynsley. 

Phil has spent four decades photographing bikes in the UK, Europe, the United States and Australia chasing the motorsport thrill and documenting some of the rarest and most famous, beautiful and iconic machines ever created. 

These books present a photographic history of Ducati as seen through Phil’s eyes and lens.

Ducati—A Photographic Tribute Volume 1

Recognised as the world's leading photographer of all things Ducati, Phil Aynsley is sought out and invited by private owners to document their collections. Allowing Phil to share the many rare and legendary bikes that would otherwise never be seen by Ducati aficionados. 

Phil explores the amazing story of Ducati's road, race and lesser known non-motorcycle products.

In Ducati—A Photographic Tribute Volume 1, photographer Phil Aynsley, a passionate devote of the Italian marque has captured the romance and excitement of these machines which includes rarely seen images of the Ducati factory plus intimate views from inside the pits of many MotoGP and World Superbike rounds.

This book has been designed as the ultimate must-have for all keen motorcycle enthusiasts.

 
 

Ducati—A Photographic Tribute Volume 1, Limited edition box

As a limited edition product we also designed and produced, Volume 1, the Limited Edition. 

Ducati collectors received a limited edition display box including:

  • A signed certificate by Phil Aynsley who has been a passionate devotee of the Italian marque for over 30 years.

  • Three museum quality Fuji Arts prints (suitable for framing) by Phil Aynsley. Signed and numbered.

  • A copy of Volume 1 signed by both by Phil Aynsley and racing great and 3 time World Superbike champion Troy Bayliss.

Ducati—A Photographic Tribute Volume 2

Following the success of the first publication and due to requests from Ducati enthusiasts, and those not quick enough to buy Volume 1, a second volume was released. Volume 2 is for all those who are passionate not only for Ducati but for anyone interested in motorcycles, photography and design.

Ducati lovers embraced Volume 2 with its expanded sections on Road and Race bikes as well as the Rest section showcasing a raft of the company’s other, lesser known products. Noted magazine editor, photographer and racer Cook Neilson wrote the Foreward. It was and is a must have for any Ducatisti!
